Spices Indian & Nepalese Restaurant Seton

The food is very good, the taste is very rich, this time we tried the Indian dishes, they are all very good. The staff's service attitude is also very good, and I will come again next time.

Spices is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Calgary! The Veg Momos are the best I’ve had here—absolutely flavorful and perfect. The Chicken Garlic Masala and Prawns Tandoori were also incredible. The staff is super friendly, and the service is top-notch. Highly recommend!

Thank you Anil for your incredibly thorough friendly service is not just a joy to eat there, but it’s also a joy to be served by you. The best Indian food I have ever had absolutely incredible and always is . My food is a 100% prepared, gluten-free and safe every time.

Server was attentive and food was super good and the price is reasonable. I dont know what more to expect but maybe next time ill try a 6 on spicy instead of a 7.

We dropped in last night for dinner for the first time. Lots of choices and really very good pricing. The portions were great and the flavours were amazing! The appetizer platter was a fantastic start and it was such a great mix of items. Mint chuntney deliscious and the Mont Lemonade was a great combination! RoganJosh (sp?) with lamb combo was my meal, served with dasmati rice and garlic naan. So tasty! My bride had the paneer and so much leftovers for today! Lovely, freindly service and very helpful with questions and curiosities we both had. A very nice meal and amazing flavours, if your in the area it is worth the stop. Could be your new fave spot in Seton. We live in Cranston and will be back! Thanks!

Loved the experience. The food was unique and flavourful. We had a variety of momo, biryani and curry. The flavors are distinct. The environment was nice and service was wonderful. He recommended great options. Will go back for sure. Update 2025-07-12: This experience was so nice. We are even planning to request catering if they do for our upcoming event. Perfect Nepali flavour. Loved it again.

We stopped in at Spices for dinner last night and we were blown away by both the service (thank you Sonika!!) and the food! To start, we had the Chicken Momo’s, a Nepalese styled dumpling. The mild and hot sauces that were provided for dipping were both delicious. Next we ordered the “Spices Special” that had chicken tikka, king prawn and we chose the lamb kabob. It came out sizzling hot - so delicious to eat! Finally, we finished with the Punjabi garlic masala with beef. It was perfectly cooked, the beef was so tender and curry so flavourful. It came with perfectly cooked garlic naan and basmati rice. The naan was not too heavy or chewy!! Had a freshly blended Indian sunrise drink! She even gave us a sample of a new item soon to come on menu! Breaded cauliflower, the breading was thin and crispy, covered in a nice honey based sauce with sesame seeds on top. Our experience at Spices was fantastic! We will be back for sure!!

From entering the restaurant till the time we left this restaurant. We felt very welcomed by the host. Very polite and knowledgeable staff about their food. Ambiance and the songs and the over all vibe was very good and positive. The best part about this restaurant was the VERY DELICIOUS food. I will definitely recommend anyone in Calgary to check out this amazing place. The food was an emotion. Felt like it was home cooked food by my mother. Thank you for this beautiful experience.
